The End of the World?

It has been predicted many times that the world was going to end in 2012, do you think it is true?
Personally, I don't believe, but there's the little part of me that does..
From what I've researched, it seems that they only put it that way to scare people or get them watching there show some more..The Mayans never said it was going to end..It is just some celebration for them..On there calender, it did say "Era of a New Beggining"..But who knows what will happen?

My Prediction:

Every 2600 thousand years the angles which is actually planet niburu is coming towards us but will not hit that was a false prediction and the real story to that is when it comes it will pass by us and cause a cosmetic shift
and what that does is it cause the earth to turn the opposite direction, which will cause numerous tidal waves and sunamis which will kill us all!

I agree with him. The world shouldn't end in that time. Me and my grandmother was talking about it. They said in the past that the world was supposed to end in 2000. Its 2009 people. And they 'predicted'. In the bible, i think this is what my gma told me. That even gods angels don't know when the world will end. So what makes people think that he told some silly scientists?
